Data deletion

Every Calm Social account can delete itself, entirely, from inside the app:

1. Sign in at the welcome page with your email — no password; a one-time link is sent to you.
2. Open Settings → Data & privacy.
3. (Optional) press “Export everything” first to download a copy of all your data.
4. Choose delete account and type the confirmation phrase it asks for.

Deletion is immediate and permanent: your account record, stored comments and classifications, drafts, uploaded images, settings, audit trail, and the encrypted Instagram token are all removed. Nothing is retained. Your posts and comments on Instagram itself are untouched — Calm Social only ever held its own copy.

You can also revoke Calm Social’s access at any time from Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and Websites — that invalidates our token immediately, independent of the steps above.

If you can no longer access the email you signed up with, send a deletion request through the app’s feedback form or from any account able to identify the affected one; we verify and delete.
